What is T.E.A.M.?
This ministry is designed to help Discovery Class Graduates take their personal ministry and the ministry of Grace Community Church to a new level. Individuals who complete all five Discovery Classes are encouraged to participate in the ongoing leadership development provided by the T.E.A.M. Ministry.
How does T.E.A.M. Work?
This ministry is led by the Senior Pastor. T.E.A.M. members meet quarterly for leadership training. The agenda for these meetings follows the T.E.A.M. acrostic:
- TRAINING – practical leadership skills are taught.
- EQUIPPING – a variety of relevant leadership tools and resources are provided.
- AFFIRMING – individuals are recognized for outstanding service.
- MINISTERING – future ministry opportunities are previewed.
T.E.A.M. Members are also encouraged to attend annual leadership equipping events, including retreats, conferences and guest speakers.

Why Have a T.E.A.M. Ministry?
The purpose is not to form an elite club! The T.E.A.M. Ministry exists because members have made five covenants with God that place them at the core of the leadership at Grace Community Church. The theme verse says it all: “From everyone who has been given much, much will be demanded; and from the one who has been entrusted with much, much more will be asked.” Luke 12:48. God expects T.E.A.M. Members to serve at a higher level than a new member.
